The following, are some general common sense rules followed by motorcyclists touring in a group. These rules are not difficult and each rider must understand that he is responsible for himself and his pillion. He is responsible for the safe operation of his bike so he does not to endanger himself, his pillion, or other vehicles on the road. All your riding manoeuvres should be thought out, planned in advance, and communicated to the other members in the group. Never take a spontaneous action unless necessary to avoid injury!!

Motorcycle hand signals are important for all riders to know and understand but especially when riding in a group. (When riding in a group the signals should be relayed back through the group.)
With your right or left arm extended, move your index finger in a circular motion.
LEFT TURN Raise your left arm horizontal with your elbow fully extended. |
